Thy love some gracious token

1Thy love some gracious token
Give, Grant us, Lord, before we go;
Please the word which has been spoken,
Into and pardon all bestow.

2Then, O Lord of mercy, hear us,
Guard our souls from every foe;
In all peril be thou near us,
In our weakness, strength bestow.
God of Israel, be our stay
While we tread life's rugged way;
Nor forsake us,
Till thou take us,
To thyself to dwell with thee,
Through a bright eternity.
