Beyond this gloomy night

1Beyond this gloomy night Eternal beauties rise; A land of love, a land of light, Unseen by mortal eyes.

2This is the land of life, Where death is known no more; Saints ever rest, now free from strife, On that present happy shore.

3For Jesus is the way, And sin, we shall be free; And perfect love and friendship reign Through all eternity.
