In every trying hour

1In every trying hour Let thy soul to Jesus fly; This will nerve thy fainting power, When swelling billows rise.

2Him in thy sorrow seek, In trust a faithful God; The sure foundation of thy hope Is in my Saviour's blood.

3Loud hallelujahs sing To our Redeemer's name; In joy or sorrow, life or death, His love is still the same.
