Lord of the Harvest, Hear

1Lord of the harvest, hear
Our supplication;
We would approach Thy throne
With adoration.
Lord, bless the seed now sown;
Make it Thine own,
O Lord of all creation.

2As rain and sunshine are
Both needful for us,
So do we need Thy care
And grace before us.
Let Thy rich blessing fall
On great and small,
Till all the earth adore us.

3So shall our harvest be
More than we scattered,
All to Thy glory, we
Pray, be it gathered.
Then joy shall fill each heart,
And death shall part
No friends forever bettered.
