Baptize Us Anew

1Baptize us anew with pow'r from on high,
With wisdom and love from the Father above;
Baptize us anew with the spirit of pray'r,
With grace that abounds and with blessing to share.

RefrainBaptize us anew, baptize us anew,
With power from on high, with blessing so true;
Baptize us anew, baptize us anew,
O Spirit divine, we're waiting for you.

2Baptize us anew with love burning bright,
With zeal that shall conquer the darkness of night;
Baptize us anew with boldness to stand
For Jesus our Lord in this sin-cursed land.

3Baptize us anew with power divine,
That souls may be won to the Savior benign;
Baptize us anew till our hearts overflow
With love that the world through our lives he may know.
